The difference

Here is a story of young kids yelling" F*^K the poulice" at a police car as it passes. The Officer yells back wait till your 18 then your ass is mine.

Well some one filmed it and the parents of one of the kids wants an investigation of the department and the officer..........

But never a word about her foul mouthed little daughter(she denies yelling the epitaph typical didndo)

And you wonder why they are failures.........................If I had done that as a kid and my parents found out I would have had my ass whipped and been driven to the police station and made to apologize and probably wash cop cars for a few weekends.

    The job really sucks now days Sam. It was a great career once upon a time. I'm glad I got to be there in the good times.

    Unfortunately I still deal with it all day, every day. Honestly, I don?t really know how I manage not to throat punch 8-10 of these a***oles a week.

    I know that there are good and bad cops. And I'm certain there are vastly more good ones.
    But I can see how a cop that starts out wanting to do the right thing and make a difference can become warped by the BS that he has to put up with.

    I, personally, used to think that any "over reaction" by LEO was wrong, but now I look at the didndo's actions and think "yeah, I'd club the shit out of that bastard." Sounds bad, but I can understand...

    Same as teaching school now, in the eyes of the parents and the system the little darlings do no wrong and woe you say anything back or touch one :evil:

    Me too. But first the old cop in our town would have got me by the shirt collar and took me to my house. He didn?t take no crap from kids or adults.

    In my family, I was #4 in 6 kids mom and dad had. My oldest sister was a lot older and out of the house while we 5 grew up.
    Mom and dad were pretty easy on us. BUT we had one rule: NEVER let a cop bring you home....if you did something that bad enuff...you would regret it.
    And it was amazing that it never did come to that.

    its sad and scary even small towns are are not a safe bet
    how the LEO do not beat the crap out of more or shoot them is beyond me , I would last about one day on the job now no way would I want to be in the middle of the did nuffin and the legal side blaming me also
    in the past I would have done better as a leo I knew a lot of them had several cousins in the next town over that were LEO, not so many wanting to kill or do major injury to a LEO back then
    as a young fellow I had my share of "quality time " with the local city , and sheriffs . maybe more than my share :oops:
    but I was always polite , think of Eddy Haskell talking to the beavers mom not quit so over board but I was polite and no disrespect in return they were were polite as they handed me my ticket(s) or dished out a ass chewing ..
