Try using a walker. When I broke my hip a couple years back I was non weight bearing for 8 weeks. I got pretty good using the walker and hopping with the right leg.

    GreatGuns,

Yes I still use the 110 folding Buck knife. I keep it in my fanny pack, razor sharp, and it?s my go to field dressing tool... :)

I had one of those knee scooters I rode around on for a few months back in 2011 when I tore the Achilles tendon in my right leg twice. Sure beats crutches or a walker.

I know not being able to do the things that you want and need to do is frustrating.

However do EXACTLY what the doctors say and follow physical therapy to a T.

I had both knees replaced and it was important for me to do the PT.

The doctor stressed that more than a few times. Now my knees are good to go.

    Prayers for a faster recovery.

when I was 18 playing on a skateboard and a friend ran up behind me and shoved I stepped off and twisted my ankle 180 degrees
I yelled you broke my foot you stupid (*&^%$%&*(_ and held up my leg with my foot facing the wrong direction
