I see a car like that and it kind of makes me sad. That car was built to be driven and here it is 40 years later and it only has a little over 6K on the clock.
What a shame.0 -
If any Forum members buys it, I will send them a free pair of fuzzy dice for the mirror.

Remember that the Craigs list car didn't have the correct engine. Deduct 50%. Restoration would have been a large amount of money. You left a little meat on the bone for the buyer to restore and sell. Another big issue.. is how many people are looking for a 1+ Million item like that. Investors look down the road to resell someday and what it will appreciate. 0 -

What a shame.
50 yrs later. I appreciate a car that has been left alone and put away. It deserves to be in a museum for everyone to see. Owners who have cars with low mileage, have other cars they drive or enjoy. Sometimes identical with higher miles.0 -
I wonder who the clod hopper was that climbed into the car with those muddy feet? It's only a 1.2 million dollar car so I guess it don't matter. 0 -
That listing made me think about something....
Says the L88 option mandated a posi rear end.
Okay all you old hod rodders.... IIRC, All corvettes had the posi rear diffs in those early years.
Any body know other wise????????0 -
I've driven loads of L88 and LS6 and lS7 bigblocks back in the day.
NEVER had a problem keeping them straight. It was the damm earth changing direction that was the trouble.

G81 Option for Positraction. Most early cars till 70 had a standard rear end.

Car like that and they can't hire a decent detail boy? 0 -
How good would it be in the deer woods?
. I guess I'll pass on this one.0 -
Nice looking ride. Had a 71 like that. Rode like a brick and the suspension went out just about every time I crossed a railroad track...
They are fun cars but not practicle. Chicks like to go for a ride in them.
