I carry the same pistol all the time, a Ruger SR1911 Night Watchman.

Unless I am fishing or mowing and then I carry a .22 LR Walther PP.

I do have a 1903 Colt and a shoulder holster that fits it, but I haven't put it on yet.

I change guns depending upon the situation, but not for casual and formal occasions.

Lasers and flashlights work like tracers though.😁

Am trying to imagine why anyone would carry two different weapons based on time of day.

I drag a Howitzer in the day time but have no runnin lights for it at night so I carry a bazooka at night

With different types of activities going on I will generally carry a different holster and firearm, or something that will fit in a pocket. I have my .45 Colt 1911 that is in a shoulder holster that is the main carry.

In the daytime the 1911 has 7 plus 1. But at night when seeing is not as good I have lately been carrying a Berreta FS. With 15 plus a mag change. So more lead before mag change. Even tho I practice mag changes at night with all carry semi's and revolvers I am now going with the Berreta.

My Nephew being in both sandy places several times likes the Beretta especially at night for the mag capacity. But he also has the Sig 226 in .40.

So I figured I would give the Berreta a try. The .45 ACP or .45 Colt Bond Arms Derringer which is a handful but is pretty accurate to 21 feet is pretty handy.

So day or night do you have a preference of what you carry?

Right or wrong that is the reason I do not fit my weapons with a laser. I can see a possible use for a flashlight at night to ID the target making sure it is not a person you know, I do not use one myself ( Flashlight) and would not unless I am behind a barrier . A laser to me is only a two direction pointer. I practice low light point and shoot .

I don't change edc due to time. When I'm wandering the property I wear my G19 and IWB. Whenever I head to town, the G43 in a deep concealed.
