Barrel to Cylinder Gap on Engraved S&W

Item # 804056447 on gun broker is a nicely engraved Model 60 S&W. I was looking closely at the photos of the gun and came to the photo that showed the face of the cylinder. Being concern about the engraving being cut right up to the front throat of the cylinder I asked the question to the seller regarding my concern of this effecting the gas that escapes between the barrel and cylinder.

His reply was " It is not actually cut through the casing section of the cylinder and do not create any issues." This is a stainless gun so I am confused about the wording of his reply.

I therefor am asking forum members to give me their opinion. I am concerned that the engraving compromises the barrel to cylinder gap. If those who would review the photo of the front of the cylinder on item 804056447 and give me your opinion if my concerns are valid, and what the sellers reply means by casing . Comments please.

    I can't tell if that's engraved, or etched, but either way it's a dumb place to do it. Maybe JMO, but that engraving is way over done, nice work, but still over done.

    I think he might be a fumble fingers and his wording should have DOES not cause issues.
    It is nice work , & I don't think it would cause an issue, there is a gap there anyway.

    This item: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/802735089 has similar engraving. It does not appear that the engraving touches or affects the interior of the cylinder and thus would not alter the gap.

    As for the wording of your email reply, note that this seller "excepts major credit cards"

    It's a pimp gun, It is not like your going to shoot it every day.

    I have an engraved SS 1911. I don't shoot every day. It is a pimp gun.
