    Not really a garden gun.
    It was made for NRA claybird matches.
    They were even called "The Claybirders".
    That action/bolt is the same as the low end {read that as Excellent} Mark 10/model 64
    target rifles.
    I bet that gun will out shoot many mid range bolt action guns of today, even with a 1/2
    rifled barrel.

    Looking at a few claybirder posts on line I see the model number for that mentioned as "1414"......are we sure this is the same thing? The description of the gun seems to match, but the model number is 64 on mine. Is there a chance they put the same gun out under different model numbers?
