    This is more a 4th and 5th (and by extension 14th) Amendment issue.

    I fully expect the ACLU to come down hard against it.

    Damn shame but America has changed dramatically in a VERY short time, while I disagree with NZ knee jerk reaction to outlaw tools at least THEY are offering to pay something for the taking of personal property unlike Nazmerica where we are taking the Bump stock people legally purchased and offering NOTHING in compensation!

    Next up 1 child per home, Meat eating illegal, Hetrosexual's outlawed?

    If the Damicrats take the next election, we are doomed. Goodbye America, Hello Amerizuela. Unfortunately, the police will be in the middle of all of this. Will they follow unconstitutional and unlawful orders and perhaps die or find another job to support their families? Stability in this country will be a thing of the past. Crime at an all-time high.

    We are now at a point where racial division, religious division, and economic division are at an all time high. Red flag laws will add people, neighbor, and family division. We are headed for the "third world $hithole" classification. The politicians will be our masters.

    Police already seem to universally be on board with the non-compensated seizure of Class 3 weapons and accessories if owned and not properly registered as required by what most thinking advocates for 2nd Amendment rights consider to be an anti-Constitutional series of laws.

    Not holding my breath that many will grow a pair and stand up to those who sign their paychecks and stand up for those who actually pay them.

    The rise of the 2nd Amendment Sanctuary movement....states, cities and counties are beginning to take action declaring themselves 2nd Amendment sanctuaries. It the leftist can get away with not enforcing immigration laws, then there is no reason communities, if they stand firm can't survive defending 2nd Amendment rights. I am not sure what Rubio's bill accomplishes, ERPOs are a state issue, not a federal issue, other than providing funds to states for enforcing them, it didn't appear that the bill creates a federal level ERPO, mechanism for their issue or service. If they ever become law in Virginia, I will not serve one, I will not direct any of my subordinates to serve one, my Chief has said he will not direct anyone to serve them. So if issued I reckon the state police can come and serve it. I have seen the abuses of EPO's and PPOs in my career. An ingenious gun grabber developed this idea, they know it's not likely to stand scrutiny under the 4th, 5th and 6th amendments, but they also know it will take a decade to make it to SCOTUS, and in that time they can seize alot of guns, and lock up or kill alot of resisting gun owners.

    That mantra holds little water. ("Molon Labe'") may hold little (real) meaning for you, but is does for some.
