Oaks Gun show Pennsylvania. Question and Purchase

Finally bought my dillon xl650 with all the extras. While I was dealing with the dillon guy, I spotted a Remington collection he had laying out. Remington 700 BDL in 270 NIB and a Remington 700 CDL anniversary edition in 25-06. Couldn't decide which one to get, so I was thinking about go back tomorrow to pick one out. Leaning towards the 25-06, but need to 270 to fill out my BDL collection. What is everyone's opinion on these two calibers???? I have never owned either. Oak

  I have harvested many a whitetail with a Remington 700 in .270 Winchester.
  But really, you couldn?t go wrong with either.

  Both great calibers and you can't go wrong with either. Perhaps if you hunt Elk or Moose I might give the 270 a slight edge, but not enough to ring the church bells about.

  .270. Of course I have a sentimental attachment to that cartridge. A favorite of my dad and Grandfather.
