In any class-action lawsuit, no matter how large the settlement, the lawyers get their $300 an hour (with years of time billed), and the rest of us get a buck twelve.

I was "awarded" a settlement in class action suit with a phone company years ago.
Got about $11.00. The judge fined the phone co. $1.2 million.
