    It's hard not to recognize that Federal has and will always trump (no pun intended) state law when it comes to firearms and most other laws. I'd like to see an example otherwise that is actual/factual. I don't believe a state can grant any rights above federal law. ;)
    If states and cities can declare themselves sanctuary areas and refuse cooperation in federal immigration matters, then I see no reason why states and communities won't do the same in regards to federal firearms laws and enforcement. Thus far we have not seen any successful ramification to these liberal states that refuse to cooperate, so I think it is a wise move for conservative areas to utilize the same tactic to protect 2nd Amendment rights. Equal treatment under the law will put pressure on federal judges and appellate courts in these matters and the leftist have opened this can of worms.
