Quite the Compliment -
I was asking a Co-Worker how old he was, when he was limping. ("Arthritis in the knee.") There were about 10 of us in close proximity. He said "50." I asked him how old he thought I was. The 10 of them confided about it, and came up with 48. Told them I'd be 58 this July. Was told "No Way, your lying. There is no way you are that old."
I'm 6'1" at 200 lbs. Great shape, quite the provocateur/comedian/practical Joker. (In a subtle, I get away with it manner.) The Guy that those in the plant, (in my area) come to with complicated questions seeking an answer to. (Another compliment.)
I was quite pleased the concenus of ten, guessed me at 10 years younger than I am.
Life is good.
Oh, and in order to keep this a Firearms related topic, in my commuter vehicle, I carry a S&W 642 (.38 Special) Airweight loaded with Buffalo Bore P+ P Semi-jacketed soft lead hollow points, (rapid re-loads available.) with a Glock 22 and a Kel-Tec Sub2K, (both in the venerable .40 Cal.)in a lock box in the back. Share mags. Stock 17 in the Glock, stock 10 in the Sub2K. 4 loaded 31 round mags in the same bag ready to get home, if need be. In a black ballistics cloth MEI backpack with other essentials.

Nobody believes I'm 57 either when they ask (I'm 6' and 190 btw),.....think I'm mid-forties. You have me by a few months, but not much,....58 in November here.
The bad part is I evidently look younger than I am, but my pains often make me feel like I'm 80!0 -

Thanks for the post Marc1301. I heard you, sometimes when I am hobbling around, I feel 80 as well.
My workplace chews up and spits put those in their 20's and 30's on a weekely basis. I'm still hanging. (After 5 years.)

I would say that "Shameless Plug" is more in keeping with the gun forum.

Yes, Smitty - I am "Shamless Plugging."
After the " It's getting Weird here," post, I am endeavoring to keep it "Firearms related." :roll:0 -

Well, I'm 63 and have been mistaken for younger. However, you nailed it. Feeling good is so much better than looking good!0 -
my wife gets that all the time about how much younger she looks she tells them she is 60 .. along with that when we worked at the same place ( I retired ) she would point me out sometimes as I was walking down a aisle way her co-workers would say that old gray haired fellow is your husband how much older is he any way
I keep telling her , just the guys trying to score points with her and avoiding hurting her feelings ( by the way I am two years older than her
I remember until my hair started turning gray and loosing it I looked younger than I was for many years , I was in my mid 30"s before the bar tenders stopped asking to see my DL0 -
People do like to compliment others. Regardless, your ownly as pretty as you feel! :ugeek: 0 -
Yep,.........I would gladly give up looking a bit younger in exchange for feeling better. Wouldn't even have to think about it.WearyTraveler wrote:Marc1301 wrote:
