especially when Ronald Reagan is in the lead.. they look corny now, but these were very important at the time.

I got a bunch of old army manuals, love reading them.
One on basic rifle use, has a chapter on "volley firing".
You and a group of men place the butts of your 03 Springfield against the ground, hold it at about a 45% angle upward and
lob the bullets downward into the trenchs / fortifications of the enemy.

In a B 29 Captian's operating manual there is a section saying what to do in case of engine failure on takeoff. If one engine failed it told how to adjust the controls to compensate and if two failed it simply said prepare for crash landing. Some dry humor in there!

I like the old news clips of the era also they use to show in movie theaters before the show also
the old WWII training films were amazing in so many ways to keep the young guys attention
you can bet the farm the PC crowd heads would just explode if anything like some of the films were released or made today
