Had the same scenario but with a 40" old white oak. All hollowed out. Called my buddy landscaper friend. A man has to know his limits :o

I had a tree that was leaning near our driveway when we lived in Jasper, TN back in the 90s. The weather report called for snow one night so I got to thinking about it and decided to move one of my cars to a spot less likely to get hit if the tree was to fall from the extra weight of the snow. Bad idea! If I had left the car where it was originally it would not have been hit. Just my luck.

It was a Pacer, what did you have to pay the insurance company? Don

It was a Ford Escort that I used to drive to work. I only had collision insurance on it. I donated it to the fire department in Stevenson, AL. They were going to use it in some kind of training class.
