Long day yesterday
I woke up at 1:00 am yesterday morning with a small child on my chest. Well at least that's what it felt like. I denied the severity, procrastinated, and stalled until reality smacked me upside the head. I told my wife to get dressed and take me to the hospital.
We got there about 3:00 am, sent to room 15 in the ER, drew blood, answered questions, hooked up a heart monitor, and waited. They finally came back and said they were admitting me for more tests, and observation. While in the ER they gave me a nitro tablet, and about a minute later I had a big old burp and immediately felt somewhat better.
So I get up to my room and more questions, more tests, and more waiting. Due to shift changes, I had 5 different nurses, 2 different Drs, and numerous interrogators in the ER. Upstairs the same scenario took place, with different faces.
After all that transpired, they could not figure out what caused all the drama. So about 1:30 I was discharged and sent on my merry way with a script for more nitro, and the knowledge that I also have stage 2 kidney failure.
On Sunday my wife fixed roast beef for supper. It didn't smell the same or taste quite the same so I figured it was just a chinese cow. Last night I had the same thing for supper again, and a few hours later I was feeling bloated and started to get that same heaviness in my chest again. This time I manufactured a massive fart, then a window-rattling burp, and I felt better, no nitro needed.
My theory is that the cow was pumped full of GMO's and I must have felt the only benefit from that.
The only good part of the day was I went to the local AT&T store and the girl behind the counter fixed my phone so I now have the ability to receive data again.

Was the burp stomach/nose turning stanky one? Like sewage treatment plant stink. 0 -
No, that's what comes out the other end.

Glad you did not have any serious issues, other than what an enormous "Fart, and a burp," could cure.
I am getting ready to reheat last nights Smoked Kielbasa and Saurekraut. Wish me luck.0 -
Good luck Ken. One suggestion though, unbutton and unzip your pants, then eat it close to the bathroom, just in case.
I am feeling better, except for the other old age ailments. I always wondered when I was a kid, why old people weren't in a good mood most of the time. It's become very evident why, now.

I guess it's not the same thing as I get every now and again. 0
