of our schools focusing on societal conditioning instead of education.... a new jersey high school banned graduating students from renting a limousine for the prom so poorer student would not FEEL left out...superintendent said the goal was to provide " a level playing field" and let all the graduates enjoy a shared prom experience despite their economic status... one graduate protested this was unfair as it had been done for many years prior ... what BS ???? when i graduated i drove to the prom in a shiny convertible, PAID for by ME, from money earned by WORKING.....stayed about 30 minutes and decided this was not a big deal .....never liked wearing a suit anyway

  So, if the goal is a "level playing field" I assume the Superintendent is happy to match salaries with a new teacher, as well as offices and parking spots?
  
  And do they simply give everyone a straight "C" on records so the dumber kids don't feel left out?
  
  Do they waive tuition and fees for the rich kids so they don't feel left out?

  To answer your three questions.
  
  1) it's only fair when only somebody else besides him is penalized.
  
  2) yes in some school districts they do get C's as long as the students show up. No participation is necessary
  
  3) it depends if they're a minority or not. It's fair to waive tuition to a minority no matter how rich they are, but not too white people. Think about the black college fund
