why the double log in ???????

I log in to the forum, screen shows me logged in, access to everything but when I try to post, I am required to
"Log In" again.

What gives? I am at a loss as to how this could be so screwed up when designed by professionals in the field. Whoever designed the first forum site figured out how to make it work well, maybe someone should give him/her a call and ask them how they did it.

As far as I'm concerned, the rest of the new site is great and working well (for me at least) but having to log in every time or having to log in twice in order to post is not acceptable and shouldn't be acceptable to those charged with creating, running and maintaining the site either.

I realize that some things take time ..... trying to be patient here but it is starting wear a little thin.

    This has been a bug since the new forum started.
    GB has been working hard on it.
    THIS blue forum is a temp. test bed for fixing the troubles.
    There are many threads, {many by me} about it.
    To help GB, post your info about your set-up....op system, browser, any and all add-ons/extensions you have, such as "addblockers", firewall settings, everything.

    The other site worked well without having to submit the specs and personal set ups. Everyone's computers and config's worked before the change, seems like they still should.
