Did Famous Dave make my huevos rubbery?

I hard boiled them in the usual manner, peeled them and placed them carefully in some of his Devil's Spit juice.
Ten days later,,,,,,, like chewing golf ball innards.
Too spicy? Too long?
Any ideas?

  Did you use the BBQ sauce or the bloody mary mix???
  
  I think either one would not be a good choice for your desired effect of hot PICKLED
  eggs. Not enuff vinegar and too much preservatives. :shock:

  I used the juice from his Devil's Spit sliced pickles.
  Plenty of vinegar I think.
