Has anyone heard of the GPS flaw that will effect GPS systems world wide on 6 April?

  I received an email from a buddy about this. Fortunately (?) I stopped using my Garmin Nuvi years ago and now use my phone for navigation.

  I lived thru Y2K with no troubles.
  
  Maybe I'll just sit in my car and not go anywhere on April 6th.

  I have many GPS devices, I have no GPS devices that are even close to 20 years old.

  GPS is great. However, When the electro mangnetic pulse hits. The old map will have its 2nd comming..,
