My Dogs Weird

I have 2 dogs that both stay inside. A pit/lab mix thats 60 pounds that has to sleep touching me. Thats Daisy. The other is the best dog i have ever had and i have had dogs my whole life.

His name is Bear. He is 102 pounds and is the most laid back dog i have ever had. He loves kids. The only problem is he will lick the skin off of a baby. With the bigger kids he will run with them until the kid and the dog comes back with the tongue hanging out.

Now Daisy needs or i should say wants to go out 1 time a night to go to the bathroom. Thats fine i can understand that. She wakes me up with a little whine that does not wake my wife up.

However if she runs out of food or water during the night she will wake me up and go to her bowl and step in the bowl and tap it saying hey fill it up. So i feel it up and she will not eat or drink just jump back in bed with me.

I fill up the water bowl every night before bed because i do not want to be thirsty so they should not be thirsty. I could stop the water about 7 and she would not wake up to pee but i dont want them to be thirsty.
