Veterans, Too Funny -
I usually go out of my way/change directions In order to shake the hand of a "Veteran" wearing a BB CAP.
While checking out of a store, on my way home, a Veteran and his Wife were in front of me in the checkout line. He was an Army Vietnam Vet (Pleiku.) His Wife was with the cart between me and him. I reached out my hand, said "I'm an Army Veteran also Sir, I appreciate your Service."
Since he was holding a mop, he dropped to a crouch and thrust the mop head at my chest. Yelling Heeaagghh!! (Which I blocked.) His Wife and the cashier looked horrified.
We both just started laughing and talking, after a handshake.
Brothers in mops.
