Arlington Cemetery
When a veteran is entitled to be buried at Arlington is his spouse also entitled?

Depends ...... Mom is being buried with Dad there but in the coloumbarium (sp) so cremated I think its an issue of space remaining. Dad only served 4 years during Korea and never left stateside so he had no special rank or standing. I think burial versus cremation is a factor but I could be wrong

Space is now so tight that entrance requirements are very limited. That goes double for casket burials, while the rules for ashes are a bit more generous. The common veteran has little if any chance of being accepted. 0 -
I wonder how long it will take them to remove the Confederate veterans & open up that section? While they are at it they will probably tear down Gen. Lee's house as well. 0 -
So according to the web link any Vet with Honorable can go in the Columbarium. 0
