Phones held close to your head are emitting 1+watt radio frequencies and yes they probably can/do cause problems like cancer, tumors, health problems etc.

Have seen parents of small children allow them to use cell phones. Guess they think it's cute but these children are more susceptible to radiation because their skulls have thinner bone. I'd never let a small child use a cellphone. Probably when they get in school and experience "pier pressure".

To limit this use I'd make them pay their cellphone charges and if they didn't it'd get disconnected by the cellphone company. Teaches them responsibility and the value of work/money.

So the more you use your cell phone the more likely you are to die...............................I don't see a down side to that ;)

I believe there is a feature called "speaker". Radiation is reduced by the square of the distance.

Some are forgetting that you are almost always in range of at least one cell tower, and it is always transmitting.

I hope I live long enuff to see the day when the Earth is covered up by so many radio waves and manmade radiations that it spits the whole mess out to space and NOTHING works any more.
