I mean, it is never a bad idea. Remember when .22's were impossible to find for years??

It blows me away that the average shooter doesnt have 10 years worth of reloading supplies.

Its simple, its cheap, it is fun, and your guns will shoot better.

I've been stocking up for more silliness of California to come in July, 2019. After that I'll learn to roll my own.

While we're at it might I suggest be on the look out for this to come to your state. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-Y8qLuQs8Y

Since Uncle Sam is always looking for ways to make easy tax money. Its reasonable to think a ammo tax will be the next big thing.

I'm currently re-loading every piece of brass I have ---- I'm also not using my from my SHTF stash --- but buying primers/ projectiles on the current market.

As long as there is a DEMOCRAT party, you gun rights are in peril. These people want them all gone and they will destroy the US Constitution in the process.

If you don't already have a stockpile, you have not been paying attention.
Yes, stockpile loaded ammo & supplies to make your own when needed. 5 year supply minimum, but that's just my opinion.

At current prices you would almost be silly not to have some extra :)

I bought a boatload of AR mags. I've got about 70 in a box. Haven't been able to sell them so they're just sitting there. Soon, grasshopper, soon, when the Dems start their "ASSault mag ban" nonsense, I'll thro them in FB marketplace and make enough to retire!

Has anyone heard the same? I have always believed in having plenty on hand but should I get more?
Is this in response to the democrats attack on guns? I plan on picking up more ammo and am looking on buying another gun.
This is not new, I am always looking to buy another gun. Especially since the boating accident. :D
While it has always seemed prudent to me to stockpile goods that would assist during times of disaster/emergency/want/chaos, what or who is suggesting stockpiling ammo to you, at this time?

Pro gun plan is to buy more ammo. Anti gun plan is to relocate population so they are unable to get to ammo.

If we get a liberal government next election then you better stockpile now. If we get the conservative government next election, you'll still have enough on hand for when the Liberals get the majority if you stockpile now

The way I see it, it's a liberals know that they will never be able to ban firearms. But they sure can make it almost impossible to purchase ammo by claiming they are hazardous materials and charging Hazmat fee and requiring license to purchase them that.will make it almost impossible for the average person to purchase.

And because there is nothing in the Constitution that addresses ammo, we'll have nothing that will stand up in court to combat it

Thomas Sowell, a brilliant economist (& conservative) said in a recent interview that he sees us being led into socialism, & "we may not make it". I also foresee collapse of our economy. If we are to protect our property, food, water, & fuel, we will need arms AND AMMO. Ammo will likely become the new currency of the future. Do not sacrifice security for a quick buck.
