OK, I am not a computer expert but my son writes code for Oracle. He has nothing to do with this answer but It is important to note his expertise because I am proud of him.
I am also a 45 year reloader and have cast 100's of thousand's of bullets too.
On to the logging out issue.
You have a conflict in code. There is no rhyme or reason for the logging out problem. I think the conflict is in the timing of commands permit or decline. What ever is in conflict may or may not log the user out depending on the timing of the offending code beating the logged in code to the punch.
There, find the offending or conflicting code and schzaam it will be fixed!
