space x docks a rocket with the space station....now think of the private technology and skill to do this when bloated nasa is still folding papers and throwing them across the room......AND ...half of "congress" screaming DAMN THE RUSSIANS..who we have to HIRE to get nasa up to the orbiting space station...talk about a wasted budget ??????? i have NEVER heard how much it cost to have RUSSIA uber us up there per trip....??? maybe one reason Trump has been reasonably polite to them.........

    IIRC we currently pay the Russians 82 million dollars for a seat on the Soyuz. I wonder what Elon will charge? Pretty cool that private industry has been able to do this, it should get cheaper and cheaper as the tech improves.

    whatever...the budget at nasa should be REDUCED by that amount for every ticket up there..and back.......soon they will be as redundant as the dept of energy...remember when they were founded umpteen years ago to make America energy independent but have just turned into a huge number of employees who have failed after billions (maybe more) of dollars thrown at them

    NASA has no time for space travel. They are busy trying to manufacture evidence that cow farts cause the seas to rise and forest fires so the government can produce new tax schemes for us.

    That's this year, bet it costs a few million more for "incidentals". :)
