What's the meaning of.....
To the left of each thread is a circle with a check in it.
Some have a dot on the perimeter, some even have 2 different colour dots??
One thread even has a bar graph next to the header??? {story of a rifle thread}
Thanks, Bob

If you hover your mouse pointer over the circle with a check in it, it says "unread post". Even after you have read it.

Oh, you mean on the main page BEFORE clicking the topic? That's a box that shows if there are any new post you haven't read,,, I think? 0 -
Ok....
I go to general discussions......scrow down to teh thread "Dances with Sheep"....
to the left of "dws" title is the round circle. This one has 2 dots like a clock face.
one at 1;00 and one at 7;00. What are they??
THIS thread has one dot.
Some threads have the dots some don't, seems it doesn't matter how many replies???0 -
The thread with the 'graph' looking thingy means there is a poll included in the thread. 0 -
The thread with the 'graph' looking thingy means there is a poll included in the thread. It appears the orange looking dot at 7 indicates a 'hot' thread with many responses, and the green dot at 1 indicates a thread you have made a post in.
This is from simple observation, not from reading a FAQ or anything.

DANG!!!
You may have just solved the log out troubles!!
It's not the new format, it's the Fed's tap on these posts.
They only spent $23billion for the computer equipment, and they needed
another $44 billion to do it right.
