What's the meaning of.....

To the left of each thread is a circle with a check in it.
Some have a dot on the perimeter, some even have 2 different colour dots??
One thread even has a bar graph next to the header??? {story of a rifle thread}

    If you hover your mouse pointer over the circle with a check in it, it says "unread post". Even after you have read it. :lol:

    I go to general discussions......scrow down to teh thread "Dances with Sheep"....
    to the left of "dws" title is the round circle. This one has 2 dots like a clock face.
    one at 1;00 and one at 7;00. What are they??

    THIS thread has one dot.

    Some threads have the dots some don't, seems it doesn't matter how many replies???

    The thread with the 'graph' looking thingy means there is a poll included in the thread. It appears the orange looking dot at 7 indicates a 'hot' thread with many responses, and the green dot at 1 indicates a thread you have made a post in.

    This is from simple observation, not from reading a FAQ or anything. ;)

    You may have just solved the log out troubles!!

    It's not the new format, it's the Fed's tap on these posts.
    They only spent $23billion for the computer equipment, and they needed
    another $44 billion to do it right.
