Toolbar Restore

Sorry guys as I asked this a year or two before but forget the solution. My toolbar that has "File, edit, etc" is missing. How do I get it back?

That's called the 'Menu Bar'..Press and release the ALT key.. When it appears, right-click anywhere on the bar and check 'Menu Bar'.. Now it should stay put..

Thanks Hangfire. I should have mentioned that I just switched from IE11 to Edge.

Sorry, Jeff.. No Menu Bar in Edge- the whole browser is a pain in the Pelosi..I have no use for it, and haven't tried to find any tricks.. It's designed for mobile devices, and is minimal..

Forgot to add this-

If you want to use Edge, but need the Menu Bar only occasionally, this does work..From the link-

"If you are using Edge and want to use IE11, click on the 3 dots at the upper right corner and select Open with Internet Explorer."

Thanks once again. I'm going to bail from Edge and try Foxfire as was suggested in an earlier post of mine. Maybe I can find a :Foxfire for Dummies" book. I'm not doing very good on my own.

Right Hangfire. Foxfire was a popular series of books in the '70's +. I bought the "Firefox for Dummies" book (350 pages). Something tells me that I'll be back here with more questions. If you guys get tired of them, just tell me to shut up and read THE BOOK.
