    I have to agree with you. 40 years ago someone like him would be part of a circus freak show or at most a societal pariah.

    Not no more. Leftist DEMOCRATs and their allies in media and academia would be telling all of us their is nothing wrong with his behavior. Heck main stream media makes people with aberrant behavior such as the subject of the OP stars of reality shows.

    I couldn't even read the story. Just the headline was enuff for me!!

    My lawyer always tells me a "Justifiable Homicide" case would cost lots of money
    to defend, so I watch out how much of today's news stories I read.

    Thing does not want to be called he or she, thing prefers thing or it. For purposes of this post thing be referred to as thing.

    Thing was born an it and it and things nipples have been removed to more resemble a thing but prefers to live as a sexless alien.

    Lucky for thing was born an it or thing would need some really painful surgery. :roll: In my opinion thing should be called FUBAR,

    Amazing (to me) babies without a discernible sex are born at about the same ratio as people born with red hair. :?:
    When Juliet Swire gave birth to her third son in February 2014, doctors told her not to tell anyone he?d been born. She didn?t announce Jack?s arrival for weeks ? not even to close family and friends.

    Jack was born with both male and female anatomy, with ovarian and testicular tissue, and genitals that could belong to either a boy or a girl. He has one of at least 40 congenital variations, known collectively as disorders of sexual development (DSD), or intersex traits. It was months before Juliet and her husband, Will, were told Jack?s specific diagnosis, of mixed gonadal dysgenesis. While they waited, all his parents knew was that Jack?s sex couldn?t be determined at birth, and that their doctors needed time to assign it.

    ?One of the beautiful parts of having a baby is being able to share the joy that this tiny, newborn person has entered the world,? Juliet says. ?We could have announced that our baby had been born with complications that mean we don?t know if he?s a boy or a girl. But the doctors took that away from us without any explanation.? By encouraging them to keep Jack a secret, the doctors made them feel there was something shameful about his condition, she says. ?It set the precedent for how other people were going to perceive it.?

    Seems a high ratio and some might be harder to determine than others or it's BS even if so, some sane adult need to talk to the child. Sane, probably not the best word.

    Seems the rate is about 1.7% of births. If you think about premature births into that
    ratio, it makes sense. If I may talk biology a little, a women's clitoris is just a small
    unused penis.
    A male's testicles may not desend till years after birth.

    Well, there is no cure for many mental illnesses. Especially gender dysphoria. Her sex was determined by generics; she was born a female, & will always be one, no matter how much surgery she has had. Typically, sex change surgery didn't make things right for her; she is still unhappy. I continue to be amazed that doctors in civilized countries continue to practice genital mutilation without losing their license.

    When a female transitions to male, even the most experienced reconstructive urologists can't make very good copies of male genitalia. The patient has to decide if she wants to use her penis for recreation or excretion. Those who choose recreation will have to walk around forever with a bulge in their pants.

    This woman got dealt a bad hand by fate. EDS is not only incurable, but results in a shortened life for many stricken with it. Research shows promise of a cure, but, for the time being, she faces the likelihood of disability. So, if calling herself an alien & sticking pins in her face makes life more bearable for her, I support her.
