I found an old Herbrand S10 1/2 ratchet made in USA that has a slide button on the back that changes the direction. It was made in 1948.

I love running into really old tools like this.

  Good Find.I pulled an old Proto long handled 1/2 drive ratchet out of the trash.Put a 15 dollar kit in it and it works like new
