Lost 20 years of history with GB in one flash.

Not a big fan of the changes like I see some are already sucking up to.

I had to re-register under a totally new user name after having used (Trinity Scrimshaw) for years.

I've been run around in circles since yesterday. Says I'm logged in, then not. Says my password is unknown, then appears to be OK. This is a mess to say the least.

My first post since the changeover. We'll see how it goes.

Sometimes I have to sign in three or four times to make one post.

I'm positive they can bring back your old name and account. Probably zilions of other problems but not sure what they might be, other than login's. :?:

Plus this change is being done while keeping the main sales part of the system running w/o problems. The tail does not wag the dog. :D

I didn?t receive an E-mail with the Temporary Password as indicated by the Forum Changeover instructions. So, I ended up following the instructions on the ?New Forums Login Instructions - Please Read? Thread. So, following those instructions, I sent a request for a Temporary Password to the Forums E-mail Address that was listed. No response to the first E-mail on Wednesday, but after the second E-mail on Thursday I received my Temporary Password. Login was successful, but my account was immediately deactivated for some reason and I received an E-mail stating that an Administrator would review the situation and reactivate my account if appropriate. I figured I?d never hear back, but about two hours later my account was reactivated.

What I found kind of interesting was the wording in the E-mail that I received each time I followed instructions and sent an E-mail requesting a Temporary Password.

I saw a post from Ed that he had to register as a new user. He can get that fixed, but I'm not sure he has yet.

I hope you get your name fixed, Trinity!
I guess they must be able to or they wouldn't have put up that sticky.
I didn't get the email till today. I chased my tail & got it figured out a couple days before.
I don't like change, but I'm hopeful they get the kinks worked out.
