    They've finally came to a decision I agree with, this is one giant leap in favor all Americans ;) , now I hope the the system has to pay back all the confiscated cash and property they took/stole from citizens with no proof of a crime being committed just because they wanted it.

    They did not strike down seizures, only ones that are grossly disproportionate to the fines for the case, It is a step in the right direction but is merely the beginning of sorting this out, rather than the end. The guy involved in this particular case still may end up with nothing but legal bills.

    The Bill of Rights purpose is to limit the governments actions against us.......the people. We the people and all Judges must remember that.

    Typically the court decides upon what is presented and rarely exceeds the requests of the plaintiff. This decision puts the brakes on for profit policing, signaling as you state, the beginning of fixing this ridiculous abuse of power.

    A unanimous decision is significant for future cases.

    Exactly, that is the purpose of the Bill of Rights ...... protecting the people from a tyrannical government.

    This only heightens why the 2nd Amendment must remain intact and restrictive laws be nullified.

    Another judge who believes in applying the U.S. Constitution as written, appointed by President Trump to the Supreme Court would be a positive for the American people.
