Some new knife designs
Opinions please...
I am going to name each knife from ancient Roman origin. I have several ready for the fire, and will post pics when they are competed, including sheaths in leather or Kydex.

I like the third from the bottom. I saved a picture of it but couldn't figure out how to resize the pic to one I would want to produce. 0 -

The overall length should be 9.8"
I'm flattered that you would choose one of them to make. If the email system is actually up and running, I can send you the actual CAD file. You can load Draftsight software for free. I can walk you through getting it to print to size.0 -

#1, #4 & #8 are all very cool to me.
My favorite is probably #1 and #8 a close second.

I like from the top number 4 and number 8. They look like perfect skinning and gutting knives for deer and other big game. Both of my Gerber knives have served me will for many years handling moose, caribou and deer with exceptional service. One is a folder the other a straight blade. both are similar designs to 4&8, my favorite style for hunting. 0 -

Eventually yes, I am going to sell them. My goal is to have around 250 knives completed before I begin selling.0 -

Those are looking really good, nice file work on them also. I like those mosaic pins you are using. What type of steel are you using and are you doing the heat treat yourself or sending them out for it? 0 -
A question for you, Have you ever made any knives from Ti? Specifically 6AL-4V. 0 -

I started out using 1095, but was disappointed in the final finish even with polishing, so I switched to A2 tool steel. It's a bit tougher to work with while putting the bevels on, but I'm much happier with the finish. I send them out for heat treat to a company with atmospheric furnaces,which cuts down tremendously on the hand sanding when I get them back.0 -
