Erfurt Luger
As I will very soon be celebrating my 80th birthday, I have decided to part with some of my longtime possessions. The first being a 1918 Erfurt Luger, all the numbers match with exception of the clip and in a Holster with 1940 Waffen 416 markings.
This weapon was gifted to me by a family member in the mid 1950s. I have not fired the pistol in several years, but, it seems to be in good mechanical and a safe condition.
Information would be greatly appreciated on how the best way to pass on a special part of past history for someone too enjoy

You need to start with really good pic's of every detail. If you can't take them it will be well worth paying someone that knows what they are doing. Go to the auction side and search Luger for sale. Look at pic's and compare them to yours to get some idea.
