350 WMS caliber?
GB auction number 800115793
Anyone know anything about this gun's caliber?
The gunmaker or the gun.
Is this FN action a Mauser K98 large ring receiver?

Interesting. I would hope its a 350 WSM. Appears to be a wildcat - so dies might be expensive. 35 Sambar might be the same thing.
FN's were good actions. Pic's aren't all that wonderful.
Starting price is ok in my book, if I was looking for another firearm I would bid.0 -
Bolt face looks opened for Magnum head diameter.
Unless you want to get into the chamber cast, case forming, load development game, I would pass on it.0 -
I find nothing in Cartridges of the World or in John Donnelly's cartridge conversions book on .350 WMS. My bet, since it was barreled by a Williams gun shop, is that WMS stands for "Williams", not Winchester Short Magnum as in WSM. No telling without a chamber cast, what the parent case is. 0 -
That rifle was auctioned off an estate sale in Waco, Tx.
It is a one off wildcat. Bill's Gun Shop may have more info.0 -
Sold for $400. 0
