Is the new GB format really slow for you too?
I have been using GB since 2001 and have watched it grow and bought and sold dozens of guns on the site. I am no noobie to the site.
The latest revision to the site format is horribly slow on the systems I use it on -- has anyone else noticed this?
It is especially bad on my phone -- I was using the mobile app for a long time (which was ok) but now that it isn't supported anymore, have been using their web version. I have a recent model Samsung with Android 8 and it is ridiculously slow to load.
I see the same issue on desktop (windows 10). I have PC systems with the latest Core i7 CPUs and gobs of memory -- no issues with other website, but for some reason the GB site is crazy slow.
If I take the option to switch back to "Classic" view, BOOM it's as fast as Chuck Yeager in the X-1.
Has anyone else noticed the performance issues and if so, did you send them a note about it? I have and have gotten no reply.

Unfortunately, the forums is not monitored by the Auction Side. All you can do is keep sending in your concerns to the auction help folks. The new site has a lot of detractors for many reasons. I have not seen a slow down but then again my DSL service is slower than smoke off of a dog turd. 0 -
yes, I know. IMO, it is a shambles. Don't mind change , but ,,,, I did contact support and I suggest you do also. The "old" version was the berries, imo. 0 -

i did send a support request with my issues -- we have FIOS gigabit at home and it is absurd how slow and clunky it is on a Windows desktop -- and even worse on a phone.
Switch to the "Classic" version and "BOOM" it's fast as a strobe light.
Also, I have a list of saved searches -- the "Classic" view allows me to see them all on one page -- now I have to scroll and load (on the phone) -- it's awful.0 -
