I have owned two in 9mm and gave my son one of them.. No issues with either. They are a decent carry gun and easy to shoot. I have fired several different types and brands of ammo though both and they fed everything I tried.

I taught my daughter in law to shoot and after shooting .22's, and learning the basic safety rules, she next fired my first Shield. She shot it well as does my son...

That was why I gave it to them...?and I ended up buying myself another one...

I have been using a shield in 45 acp as daily carry gun for about two years .Really like it a lot with no issues.

My Shield is my truck 45. It is utterly reliable and amazingly accurate. I have shot the dog stuffings out of it and it just keeps going. It was responsible for the demise of a coyote at 40 yards with a head shot! I just squeezed the trigger.

I am taking it to the range tomorrow to run a couple hundred rounds through it.

I have one and like it well enough, although I do not use it for one of my carry pieces. I found it so cheap I couldn't pass it up mainly.

If I wanted to complain about something it would be the trigger, but none of striker fired guns has a great one out of the box IMO.

I think it has a much better trigger than my Glock 32 or XD/s.

I have owned on for 2 years.
It was my EDC for a year until I got a great deal on a Sig P239 9MM (Most of my pistols are Sig Classic P22X types)

While I prefer the Sig mainly because it is the same in operation as all my others in every way but size I can't bring myself to part with the Shield 9MM.
It has worked flawlessly and I have an Aliengear IWB so keep it as a back up

    It is a fine weapon.

Yeah the trigger is not great but when required as a combat weapon the last thing one will remember is how the trigger felt just that it worked

At least three of my friends carry the 9mm daily. They all love em. I plan on getting one sometime. I have shot a couple of em and they were fine.

I got a hellova deal on a police trade in. 40 cal. I was a little skeptical, but the trigger pull was crisp 4.5lbs and at 10 yards it
printed a 2.5" group with factory ammo. Sights dead on. The only thing negative I can say is you need a pointed object to
take it down. These are really good reliable pistols .
