Son in Law's holster:
My son in law wanted me to make him a low slung Hollywood style rig for his Vaquero.
I didn't have a pattern for one, so I had to make one from scratch. I used an El-Dorado (John Wayne) pattern for the holster.

He wanted me to do some carving & stamping on the rig also, and this is what he got.

I sure hope he likes it, because I haven't told him how much it's going to cost him yet...[:D]

Sir, you are a craftsman. 0 -
Remingtonoaks,
The special ?Son & Law? price I haven?t told him it will cost him yet is $350.
This is the second rig I have made for him. Last fall I made him a full Johnny Ringo rig with matching spur straps & spurs. It made him have to go out & buy a new Vaquero just to fit it...[:D]
He special ordered this one from me, and I don?t think my daughter quite knows yet...[:0]
He asked me to go all out on it so that it could be some thing he could hand down to his sons someday. The belt will be double lined front & back just like the holster. So I still have some work to do sewing the back side of the belt on to the front.
Chad works in the Oil Fields as a Pipe Line Inspector, so the price isn?t going to phase him any...[;)]
