Something I Haven't Done
Since my younger days playing baseball.
Yesterday while blowing snow behind my Kubota tractor, I hit a raised portion of pavement that channels water into a side ditch off of the driveway. The foot of snow covering everything made the spot impossible to see and my judgement was off in never land at that moment.
I know, I need to stake this spot for future reference but I'm not yet Mr. Perfect [:D][:0]]?..anyway, to make this short story long, er.. I mean what happened was when I hit the raised pavement my tractor stopped dead in its tracks and the steering wheel that I had been clutching tightly bounded or bolted or better worded moved abruptly with my left thumb under the steering wheels cross member.
Ohhhh my gosh! The rush of pain felt like the thumb had been pulled out of its socket! Took a few minutes to realize that I had just severely sprained my thumb![xx(] Haven't had this feeling since playing hard ball in high school!

Quick!!! Grab a M1 Garand and a 8 round stripper clip of 30/06.
Slam the clip in without looking......your thumb will be fixed.

[:D] Crap! Today I have come to realize how much I NEED and use that dang ole thumb!! Couldn't even twist the top off of the pill bottles this morning![:0] Yup, I have to take a few of them there pills every day. An 800 mil. Ibuprophen also came in pretty handy as well![:I] 0 -

What's up matter little baby, you got a boo-boo on your little thumb? When you become a real man, you can just teeth to rip off the caps off off boo-boo medications.[;)][:D][:o)]

Ya! Just a boo boo in life's enormous mix myriad of pain & suffering. [:D]
It is just one of those things that I no longer take to my doctor because when I tell him..."Doc, it really hurts when I do this!"
He just smiles and says, "Well, then, just don't do that!" [:0]
Then I get a bill for a Franklin note!0 -
