Need computer help. Phone pix now on computer

I use gmail, I went to gmail to send a picture from my small amount of pictures. I opened the gmail and clicked on the photo icon.
It did not take me to my photos! It took me to ALL the photos that I have EVER taken and DELETED from my phone!!??
I can't delete the pictures or do anything with them and I cannot access my saved photos thru my email!
Does anyone know how to get rid of these cell pics??

Note: smart phones suck
