    Great video! Reminds me of trip on tourist bus(school) on narrow road to ranger station at Denali in '89. As I recall no guard rails either.

    Notice how the trucker hogged the road. Those jake brakes woke the whole neighbor hood.Logging kills trees.

    All in all, it's a pretty nice road. Those two switchbacks look like a six lane freeway compared to some.

    What is really exciting is meeting one of those, on a forest service road, when riding an ATV. The ditch on the upside is a comfortable place to go to, post haste.

    Well it varies a bit, as everything is paid by the ton. If that guy owns that truck he will gross somewhere around $1000-$1200 per day.

    Hired drivers get paid 27%-30% of the truck gross. 27% if they just drive it, and check the oil/fuel it up at the end of the day. 30% if they want to stay late, or come in on Saturday to grease the truck, and do some light maintenance.

    These are 12-16 hour days, so you can see the pay isn't very good.
