    My 66-2 is not pinned or recessed.

    yup, did an internet search and the changeover on the model 66 is from the dash one to the dash two, as opposed to the model 29 which all dash 2 are supposed to be pinned and recessed.

    it says you can have a dash 2 with a recessed cylinder or a pinned barrel if it was built early in the run, but to be sure you have to go to dash one.

    66 no dash is pinned with recessed cylinder.

    Just bought one, just like the one I used to carry for 20 years.

    For the model 66 the -2 is the engineering change which was non pinned and no recessed chambers. The - number is different on the models for example on the model 19 the -5 is the engineering change for non lined and non recessed chamber
