I think this needs to happen more often
One should not have to be a Philadelphia lawyer or an expert in Computer coding to understand what the owners are doing with the data about you.

Thanks for posting this and sorry I missed it earlier.
I guess the extent of my own "social media" use is whatever I post on these forums.
Never had an account on facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc.
While our government and media focus on ridiculous issues, online scams, invasion of privacy, phone scams, systems hacking and such are ignored.
My health insurance company (anthem) was hacked several years ago and the personal info of some 60+? million members was compromised.
Hardly a peep was heard about it. But, if a government agency is compromised, it's front page news.
To function in this "digital age", you're practically required to sign away any reasonable expectation of privacy.
And our government "leaders" seem to be just fine with it.[V]0 -
As far as them tracking your purchasing preferences goes, I think it would be actually better that they do instead of making you shift through a multitude of ads that you're not interested in. Let's face it, if you're going to a free site, you're going to be bombarded by ads... Even here on GBGD There are ads. And I would prefer having to slosh through a select few that I might be interested in, then have to slosh through a multitude of ones that I'm not interested in... 0 -

If I owned face book I would just cut Germany off. Nobody forced the people to sign up. I bet they wouldn't need to appeal if they did that. 0 -

They might need to find some new lawmakers though, some people are so addicted the place is like Facebook they'd kill them0
