Carhartt Workwear ?

Been having lousy luck with my old standby Fruit of the Loom t-shirts.
Lighter material, shorter sleeves, smaller sizing.

Thinking about just buying carhartt for considerably more money, but worried I'll have similar issues.

I see 2 different versions online and want to make the right choice the first time. Short sleeve pocket t in xlarge, 7.5 oz cotton material and a sleeve that goes below my puny biceps.

Anybody have some experience with these?

    I wear carhartt clothing every day and nothing has ever fallen off of me from being defective. Torn off of me by mad, passionate women is a different story.

    I prefer the Duluth T's especially their long tail shirts they work great for conceal carry

    +1 on Duluth Trading long tail shirts. Go to their website and sign up for emails and they will have sales where you can get their pocket t shirts for $10-$12. They are not thin, cheap material and last a long time.

    I believe Carhart underwear is just something else re-tagged. Carhart built it's name on heavy duty canvas outer wear and that's the only thing I buy from the company.

    My Duluth Fire Hose pants are great, wear like iron.
    They hold 4 full size handguns.
    Of course I bought my last pair when I saw the were made in china

    I've bought both Carhartt and Dickies. I buy the tall even though I'm not, they stay tucked in better and are more comfortable because of it. Both are good shirts but do wear out, they are kind of pricey for t-shirts. I generally buy the ones with 3-4 buttons at the neck and a pocket. I can carry the LCP in the pocket if I want to. The Dickies have a pencil holder stitched into the pocket, I have to cut the thread about halfway down if I want the LCP to fit.

    They must come from different manufacturers as some are heavier than others, despite being tagged the same.

    Never tried the Duluth, may have to give them a go.

    I don't buy "work" wear but I'm a devout fan of Duluth underwear. Never tried Carhartt, so I can't directly compare. But I can find no shortcomings (pun intended) with Duluth products.

    I prefer Carhartt Henleys, to the pocket Ts. Mostly wear UnderArmor I buy on close out for $10-12. Also have Duluth Ts that have worn for 4-5 years and still going.

    My t shirts are Dickies but underwear is Under Armor. The very best I have worn. Not cheap but try one pair and you will buy more. [:)]

    I wear a 3XL Tall and the only thing I can find that works is Duluth. I'm 6'4" tall
    I've been wearing these for work, for years.

    T-Shirt, V neck, Henley's. Ive got about 4 of each in the closet.

    When they finally get old, they are great for working in the yard and cutting up for cleaning duty (rags and patchs)

    Well thank for the input folks.
    I've got both a Duluth and Carhartt store within reasonable travel time so I'll check them both out.

    UA only has boxers, Duluth also has briefs..

    The majority of my T-shirts have the Menards LOGO and ARE FREE AFTER REBATE. They don't really have to wear well or be comfortable because they're FREE.

    I've worn Duluth pocket Ts for years. Love them. As stated above, not your thin flimsy material. And the extra length stays tucked in. And they've got a great warranty.
