Beretta 687 buttstock 28 gauge will it fit a 20 ga

I have a chance to pick up a nice 28 gauge but stock Beretta just want to know if it would fit my 20 gauge I believe they?re compatible but not the far end . I look forward to any help out there Would be great thank you for looking at my post

  I'm pretty sure the 687 28ga was built on a smaller frame. You should contact Beretta and ask them.

  IIRC, if your gun was made before 2005, they will fit.
  After 2005 the 28gage used the 410 sizes.
