Dice up some little reds and put them in a bag with a little bit of olive oil and a package of the Lipton onion soup mix. Shake them up until they are evenly coated and bake them in a shallow glass pan at 375 for about 40 minutes turning them once. I like to broil them for a bit at the end to crispen them up.... 0 -

Will try that. I like all of the above. Thanks.0 -
"Potato Bar" is one of our favorite meals. A nicely baked medium-size Idaho and a selection of toppings to include all you mentioned plus chopped ham and all-meat chili. Always start with a sprinkle of salt, then mix and match toppings to your heart's (well, maybe your stomach's) content.
Lightly rub the potato with oil before you bake it in foil, and be sure to eat the skin to get all the vitamins and goodness.0 -
When growing up on the farm, my Ma Maw would always have copious amounts of Taters on hand. She'd always tell anyone, "That's Ken's Tater." Speaking of the largest in the bowl.
Can, (and do) make a meal out of Taters. LOVE them.
Steamed onions, added to my above condiments, Rocks also.0 -

You know, I once seen a Dodge Ram add, that had a new Ram truck on it.
The caption said, "HEMI POWERED- enough said".
Strange thing, that truck had tires and wheels on it too!!!
Guess the term "nothing else needs to said", needs to be explained.

70%-80% at least of my food growing up was soup ( pinto ) beans taters and cornbread . the taters were always mashes or fried , french fry's on rare occasions
I still fry , mash and bake them , not very well [B)]but eatable.
and look nothing like greatguns offering which are amazing looking [^] by the way )
my wife likes baked potatoes with just salt and butter . I toss on a few more toppings on mine0 -
I do LIKE Potato's and could just about live on em with all the great things you can make out of em!
Problem is that in my neck of the woods finding a good edible fresh potato this time of year is a real crap shoot! Winter storage is at the bottom of the bin and most potato's smell like the locker room at the Y or worse. That musty smell goes all the way through a potato and gives a very fowl taste.
That is if you can find one that isn't half black inside or hollow in the middle.[xx(]
I really can't wait for new potato season to get here!0 -

Good potatoes are hard to find this time of year. 0 -

As good as potato's are.....there is nothing worse than a bad potato!
(almost sounds like a famous quote, but I just made that up[:)])0
