I've had this for a couple of years. Very informative. I've even known when letters weren't delivered... got a picture online but not enough n the mbox.

Thank you for the info. I did not know how long it has been around, but thought it was pretty neat when my son showed me a personal letter that I did not even know was coming my way! [:D]

We had it for a while when things weren't showing up. Started out with magazines but wound up with some important documents missing, like a jury duty summons. Carrier was gone soon after and stuff reappeared. Have no idea what he did with them.

I recently signed up, having MAJOR problems with our carrier. Turns out he was "Returning to sender" all of our mail. He was pissed because I complained about all the mis-delivered mail he was putting in my mail box.

He is STILL causing problems with his whole route, but the Post office doesn't care. Well, at least our postmaster doesn't. It is so bad, we have even had it on the local News channel. Online complaints, phone complaints, in person complaints, nothing is working....yet.

At least with "Informed Delivery" you can contact the senders of the mail that isn't being delivered, to try to take care of business.

My wife is beside herself just waiting on her mail today. She keeps asking whether the mailman has come. It seems that when I told her she had another letter from Donald Trump she hasn't been able to calm down at all. She gets really excited about Donald and MAGA. [:D] True story! [:D]

Wonder if I could get a picture of the package that was last scanned in Butner, NC on Jan. 11, 2019, and has not made it the 26 miles I live from there yet.

I get those every day. Two days ago, I received a doctor's W-2 tax form. I was so tempted to open it! [:D]

Not available in my area. [:(]
I guess we're lucky to get mail at all out here in the boonies.

We've had the picture thing here for at least a couple of years now. Pretty handy. We have a pretty good mail service now. The carriers appear to be able to read.

Back where we used to live it was a mess. I called the post master and requested that he have the mail carrier dump all the mail on the ground at the entrance to our subdivision that way everyone could stop and sort through the mail on their way home which would save everyone from having to deliver each other's mail that would normally be left in the wrong box. He didn't see the humor in my request and until we moved the mail was still a mess. Sorry SOB's were to stupid to read and to lazy to care.

Just read it and tell me what it said. Or better yet, just go ahead and pay those bills.
I suppose my mail carrier would even tell me within 3-4 minutes of when he'd be at my mailbox if I asked but IMHO, what the he!! difference does it make.
FWIW USPS came today after missing yesterday completely. UPS is still sitting in town being total PANSIES. A "weather emergency" prevented delivery. Whoopy Doo. I drove 1/2 way across the state today and returned 100% safely. When a delivery business(UPS & FedEx) operates on "best case scenario" terms, there are bound to be some consequences.
