Virginia State Trooper Dowell was shot & killed while in the line of duty. At least they shot & killed the SOB that did it. Shilowar, I know it's a big area, but did you know him?

RIP Officer.
Call me what ever you want, but I believe when any LEO gets fired upon,
the perp should never make it to trial. There is no question about
guilt when a criminal who knows he's breaking the law points a gun
at a LEO and fires.

We were discussing this at the work lunch table today. He is from about 15 minutes North of where I work. (He came from Chilhowie.) Returned his body to town yesterday, from what I understand.
