I'm looking for a tactical type stock for an SKS paratrooper model. Is there a difference between the standard length rifle and the paratrooper as far as fitting the stock is concerned?

  I sold a paratrooper sks to a buddy ( about 15 + years ago ) who came back with a aftermarket folding stock a week later ask me to install it for him it fit no problem .
  
  I would check youtube I will bet lots of sks videos on changing and fitting stocks
