Yes, mond lives in the UK.
I was thinking about you the other day mond, and wondering how you were doing. Great to see you post!0 -
Gotta say one thing about you Don ..... You be smooth. [:D] 0 -
Hey mond; good to see you posting! Hope things are going well for you! 0 -
Welcome to this side of the pond! Hang around, it is still a fun filled, free thinking frivolity here. 0 -
Welcome back, Do you have any new pictures of your country side to share? 0 -
Hey Mond 0 -
Hey Mond, got to your side of the pond in Sept. last, but never made it up your way. Did some birding in the New Forest, spent a day around Stonehenge, and a couple of days around Wells, went to Glastonbury and did some birding at a nearby marsh in the afternoon. The rest of the time was in London, looking at museums and art.
The GunBroker e-mail system no longer works, so don't feel unwanted if no one emails, as few if any will still have your address.
Best Regards[:)]0 -
Top of the morning to you! 0 -

Nice pics mond. What is a moor? 0 -
I also would like to know your definition of a moor. 0 -
Hello from Missouri friend. How have you been 0 -
Howdy mond. Have missed your posts. Glad to see you back and to hear you're doing well. 0 -
A moor is a tract of open, peaty wasteland, often overgrown with heath, and/or heather and gorse, common in high latitudes and elevations where drainage is poor. It is often marshy in the drainages. It is often just called heath.
The bottom of Mond's photos shows a pretty typical moor in Northern Yorkshire.0
