Western Movies
I read a WHOLE lot. But when I watch the television I like to
watch all era's of westerns. Why, I see the moral values put
into films as a message of Honesty and the virtue of right
and wrong.
Am I alone or is there another genre of films that put forth
a backstory of morals and what is a line in the sand?

some of the old TV shows like leave it to beaver , my three sons , lassie , bewitched , I dream of Jeanie even the dukes of Hazard [:D] + many more just about all the old shows I can remember had the good wins out in the end over dishonesty or bad behavior
I do truly enjoy watching the old westerns ( my wife and kids think I can quote every line in all of them )0 -
Westerns, I love'em, can watch them 24/7 and almost do [;)]. Me and my very accurate nickle plated SAA cap pistols kept things in line when I was a kid, the bad guys always walked a straight line when I was around [:D] 0 -
I watch westerns every chance I get. Grew up with the Rifleman and got to meet Johnny Crawford about 15 years ago. 0 -

I too enjoy old western movies and TV shows. There are a few movies that also place moral character, good over evil, trust in mans inner beliefs over what most of todays entertainment only concerns itself about ratings.
One of my favorite non-western movies is "Sgt. York" starring Gary Cooper. A great true story that shows a mans integrity and teaches impressionable young viewers a lot about doing what's right in life.
It is movies such as this along with others like "Davy Crockett" that taught this one time young'un not to fear guns but to respect them in the hands of the righteous! Also to want to have my own guns for all the right reasons that I had been taught via said movies along with the good folks that raised me![^]0
